Ron Gourlay: “We have to keep improving through stability, continuity and competitiveness”
The Football CEO of Valencia CF talks to the media
This project will create posters that will leave a legacy of the final campaign at our stadium
Valencia CF and the experienced Valencian artist Lawerta are launching a creative and artistic initiative to pay tribute, at every home match during the current campaign, to the final season at Mestalla.
This project is part of the ‘Mestalla és Etern’ campaign and will focus on creating posters for the matches played at our stadium, both in LALIGA EA SPORTS and any potential Copa del Rey matches, which will recall moments and the culture of our beloved Mestalla throughout history.
For the match against RC Celta de Vigo this Saturday, August 22nd, the poster refers to the historic goal by Forment against the Vigo side at Mestalla on March 28th, 1971, which was decisive in winning the 1970-71 league title.
In addition to being used to present the matches on the Club’s social media, these posters will be the institutional gift at the reception for the opposing team.
Over the years, Valencia CF and Lawerta have come together to carry out numerous projects such as the banners for the 2018-19 and 2021-22 Copa del Rey finals, the theming of the Animation Stand and the commemorative poster for the first women’s football derby at Mestalla, which saw Valencia CF Femenino face Levante UD in 2017.
